Know Your Merit

What Makes Us a Leader

My name is Pannie Petrucci. My husband and I started our business during the pandemic, and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. Starting with our search for additional income during a time where work was scarce, and the Covid-19 pandemic having compromised my full-time nanny position. We were living paycheck to paycheck before, and had no idea when, or if, things would return to normal.

My husband and I live happily in America, but I’m originally from Thailand, and my parents back home depend on me. If I fail to send their monthly allowance, their lives are severely impacted. The stress of making ends meet was affecting my mental health and my ability to sleep at night. Since I still occasionally worked as a nanny, I searched for part-time jobs during the graveyard shift. Concerned about spreading Covid to my friends and family, I targeted a flexible job that limited interaction with coworkers and customers, and settled on delivering packages part-time for Amazon

The first few days were great, I rarely interacted with people, and there were no hovering bosses. It wasn’t long though before I was delivering 50lb boxes of dog food and getting lost in the snow. One day, I had two different dog food deliveries on the 3rd floor of a snowy apartment complex. I weigh about 107lbs, so I was exhausted after the first delivery. Once I discovered I had another delivery on the 3rd floor, I broke down in tears and eventually called my husband to help. Later that week, I found myself in the middle of the country on a dark and cold night, with no cellular service, delivering to a house that looked straight out of a horror movie. The house had no lights on, and everything looked overgrown, worn and rusty. The long winding driveway had 30 or more old and new cars neatly parked on both sides of the driveway that made me think a million thoughts with none of them being good. At that point, I drove off the property, pulled over, and seriously questioned if this was my best opportunity to get ahead in life.

After that, I decided to target remote work opportunities, but found I wasn’t qualified for most decent paying corporate customer service work with my broken English and nanny background. I searched for advice on a Facebook Thai community and found a post sharing an opportunity to make extra money whenever I wanted. One meeting with that poster helped me realize how much potential I was wasting, and she offered me the opportunity to grow personally and financially. My first 10 months in business earned me $50,000 while working part-time with minimal experience and education in what I was doing. I was mentored by like minded people already successful in the business, and they were with me every step of the way. My intention was to earn $500 extra a month, but quickly realized I could make much more with full commitment.

I quit my nanny position and earned over $100,000 between December 2021 and December 2022. I expect to build my business and continue to grow financially and as a mentor. I was given a once in a life-time opportunity, and I’d like to extend the same opportunity to you. It’s free to learn and start your own business, and it’s probably unlike anything you’ve ever been offered before. Schedule an appointment with me, and I guarantee you’ll learn something about the financial industry that can help you build a better future and conquer your dreams!
